Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year for hospitality, friendship and dialogue. We were more than happy to share our food and feelings and also reinforce the friendship and dialogue with our contacts, friends and neighbours.
In that regards, we successfully organised our first Christmas Friendship Dinner in Reading on December 12, 2018. The event started with a welcome speech and short information about Fellowship Education Society (FES) by our Chair of Fellowship Educational Society, Mr Mehmet Cabuk.
While our distinguished guests were having their dinner, we all had fun with some quiz questions about Berkshire and the UK. Our event has finished after a speech by Dr Omer Sener, of Dialogue Society, London, about “Necessity of the dialogue in the diverse community”.
We would like to thank our guest speakers, volunteers and all of our invitees for their contribution to the event and hope to meet them again in future events.
