The Lady Volunteers of Fellowship Educational Society opened a Food Stall at Wokingham Town Centre to bring the best of Turkish cuisine to the community. Selling homemade traditional Turkish dishes, the volunteers aimed to raise funds for the survivors of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. All proceeds from the stall went directly to aid those affected by the natural disasters. The Lady Volunteers’ efforts were enthusiastically supported by the local community, who were able to enjoy delicious, freshly-cooked Turkish food while helping to make a difference to people in need. The Food Stall was a great success and the Lady Volunteers are immensely proud to have made a contribution to the ongoing relief efforts in Turkey and Syria.
